E. Dawn Thompson

Dawn Thompson joined the firm in 2009 as a summer clerk and continued to work for the firm after she graduated from law school. Dawn practices in the areas of Consumer Bankruptcy, Family Law, DSS, Child Support, and Criminal Law. Originally from South Carolina, Ms. Thompson graduated with a Bachelor of Art degree in Sociology and Psychology, with a concentration in criminology from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. Ms. Thompson obtained her Juris Doctor from Campbell University School of Law in Raleigh, North Carolina. Dawn is admitted to practice in North Carolina and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.

Though Dawn stays busy, she tries to find time for the pristine beaches of North and South Carolina. One of her favorite pastimes is plundering through old family photographs, letters and other heirlooms. Dawn also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading and traveling far and wide to watch SEC football and cheer for her South Carolina Gamecocks.
